**BOSTON – October 23, 2018** – Recorded Future, the leading threat intelligence company, today announced the availability of its Lookup app for the Palo Alto Networks® Application Framework. The Application Framework is a cloud-based framework that extends the capabilities of the Palo Alto Networks Security Operating Platform, which allows organizations to rapidly consume and implement a variety of innovative cloud-based security applications from any provider, large or small.

The app will allow users to search Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewall logs for recent indicators of compromise (IOCs) directly from Recorded Future Intelligence Cards. Recorded Future Intelligence Cards present real-time threat intelligence in a single view, unifying thousands of data points, and include evidence-based risk scores that enable security operations teams to make fast decisions about threats facing their organization.

This fully integrated approach solves two critical issues created by legacy solutions — highly manual processes and complex workflows. By combining customer-specific network data with external threat intelligence, security teams are able to identify and validate IOCs that may be present in their network traffic and quickly take action.
