What’s Happening at Predict 2020

Join us at Predict next week to find out how security intelligence is being used to defend organizations and infrastructures against threat actors. You’ll hear directly from the security leaders and luminaries who are shaping the future of cybersecurity, and you’ll experience the incredible power a comprehensive security intelligence strategy brings to the organizations that adopt it.

This year, Predict is an online event focused on using intelligence to disrupt the status quo. Over a span of four days, top cybersecurity visionaries from around the world will join forces to deliver more than 30 hours of exciting and insightful content.

Grab your coffee — each day kicks off at 8:00 AM ET sharp and will focus on a different security intelligence topic. Here’s just a sampling of what every day will offer:

Day 1: Monday, October 5 — Brand Protection and Threat Intelligence

Start your week with Recorded Future’s chief executive officer Christopher Ahlberg’s keynote address on how security intelligence empowers us all to protect the future.

Day 1 breakout sessions will have a brand protection and threat intelligence flavor. These will be led by experts from Forrester, Ernst & Young, Splunk, and more.

To dig deeper into each day’s sessions, join the daily live Q&As with CyberWire podcast host Dave Bittner.

Day 2: Tuesday, October 6 — SecOps and Response

Automation is the order of the day. To provide a decision advantage for identifying and responding to risks, intelligence needs to deliver everything you need, and nothing that you don’t — all while automating tasks so you can focus on what matters.

During the morning keynote, Recorded Future’s chief technology officer, Staffan Truve, and chief of product and engineering, Craig Adams, will introduce you to six new security intelligence modules that deliver precision intelligence into your existing workflows. You’ll also learn how organizations like yours use elite intelligence to solve their real-world challenges.

You won’t want to miss intelligence analyst Allan Liska’s special presentation, “Ransomware Threats to the Election.” Later, dig into how Verizon’s data-driven “Cyber-Espionage Report” brings threat actors out of the shadows and into the digital crosshairs.

Day 3: Wednesday, October 7 — Vulnerability and Third-Party Risk

Wednesday morning starts with a must-see fireside chat on the evolving role of the CISO, featuring security leaders from Morgan Stanley, RSA, and Recorded Future.

Then, hear first-hand from organizations like Land O’Lakes and Floor & Decor on how elite security intelligence has empowered them to successfully scale their vulnerability mitigation and third-party risk management programs. Also, you won’t want to miss Visma’s take on how to hunt hedgehogs, rascals, and robbers.

Closing out the day, ServiceNow users will be able to explore some of Recorded Future’s robust integrations, and learn how to create powerful phishing playbooks to automatically triage attacks.

Day 4: Thursday, October 8 — Geopolitical Risk

We’ve saved some of the best sessions for the last day of Predict on October 8. Join Recorded Future’s chief operating officer Stu Solomon and David Allen, CISO for the State of Georgia, for powerful insights on leading strategic operations across a federated environment. Then, see geopolitical intelligence in action, and learn how to protect your organization’s physical assets around the globe.

Don’t miss Jennifer Mathieu from MITRE’s engaging expert session on manipulation detection using social features. Then, an anonymous intelligence analyst will discuss how mexican cartels are altering business practices in response to COVID-19. Predict will wrap up with a discussion of how Microsoft’s Azure Sentinel cloud SIEM integration with Recorded Future enables you to reach higher levels of prevention, detection, and response.
