New Premium Features: Filter by Predictions, Measure Source Details and Expand Event Results
By Chris on August 16, 2011
We recently introduced several new features to Recorded Future that better enable the identification and filtering of predicted events as well as analysis of the underlying sources reporting on events. These updates were previewed in our recent blog post “The Predictive Power of Sources” and include:
- predicted events (meaning their event time is greater than the article published time) now defined by a small green arrow in the event bubble so you can easily determine how events or time periods were described prior to having taken place;
- view only the predicted events for a particular timeframe by going to “More” and selecting “Search for prediction events” or toggle “Predictions” in the legend;
- additional tabs made available below the timeline for statistics on sources, media type, and related entities;
- the ability to increase the maximum number of results shown under the “More” dropdown.
See the new features highlighted in the short video below:
We’d love to hear your feedback on these product updates, and you can get a taste of how they work by setting up a few free Futures and clicking through the results to view in the Overview.
